Studio Creed

Here at Pulse Force Clogging we want the students to enjoy class, make lasting relationships, and feel safe at the studio. In order for them to have the highest quality of instruction in a caring and respectful manner, we ask that students and parents abide by these policies to enable everyone to have the best experience possible.

Drop off

-Please drop your student and promptly exit the driveway as we don’t want anyone to get blocked. If you are parking please park by the curb to not disrupt the flow of drop off and pick up.

-If you need to come and talk to me on Thursdays or you are asked to come inside please park by the curb to not congest the driveway of those who own the property.

Pick Up

-Our classes this year are back to back because of this please be on time to pick up your child or let me know if you will be running late as I can watch for you after your child’s class is over.

BAND

-We use band often! Please download the app so that your child can stay current on what is learned in class. New routines will be posted weekly so that if your child misses they will not fall behind in class.

-Music will also be posted to band so that your child can practice to the song that is used in class.

-Other class items are communicated through band ie parties, measurements, costume information, and other important items if you do not have Band you and your child may not know what is happening outside of class.

Observing your Dancer

While we love to have parents watch and see what their child is learning in class, it can also be a big distraction for the student, which then makes it hard to have the student focus on class. The studio is loud as it is with clogging shoes, music constantly going added chatter from parents and siblings is hard for other students to hear instructions given by the teachers. If you do decide to observe we ask you to abide by these guidelines.

-Please only observe if your presence won’t distract not only your child but the others in the class as well

-Videoing your child is encouraged, but please do so the last 15 minutes of class. If you want your instructor to go over something specific for your child PLEASE ask after class is over.

-Do not bring siblings with you. If have to them please bring something for them to do to keep them occupied during your class time.

-Please limit conversations between other children or adults while class is in session. During breaks are fine, but please be respectful to the instructor.

Come Prepared!

Students should come prepared each week ready to learn, dancers must have the following each week.

-Appropriate shoes with taps/Clogging shoes

-Appropriate clothing: Rec can wear loose fitting dark bottoms/leggings with a light colored top. Competition will need to wear dark bottoms with required studio tee shirts

-Hair pulled back away from face

-Water bottles are highly encouraged as to be able to have water during breaks

-Cell phones are allowed but not to be used during class time. If parents have ANY kind of emergency I will always have my phone by me and will be checking it often as it will have my music on it for ALL my classes. You can text or call me if you need to get in contact with your child during class.
